Owner's Description

Mintage 80,294, although the 1846-D/D half eagle gets all the publicity the normal mintmark variety is substantially scarcer, especially in high grades. Purchased from Joe Kuehnert January 1975, Rochester, NY. Photos show the coin prior to certification.
