Owner's Description

Mintage 340,330, reasonably available but not in this condition. Bold design definition on both sides indicates a full strike on this beautiful satiny Mint State example. Both sides have brilliant greenish yellow-gold surfaces with reflective fields. The reverse has a vertical bisecting die crack with a branch crack from the eagle's neck to the left facing wing. The obverse has a die crack from the bottom of the bun to the center of the hair curl going down the back of the neck.Purchased February 2014 from Heritage Auctions at the ANA auction in Atlanta.
