Owner's Description

Not very difficult to obtain, this is also the top grade with a POP of 143 and none in grade 70. Total minted for 2009 was high relatively speaking at 1.65 million. Total pop for all grades was 166.

This is the first year where high graded libertads became more of the norm. It appears as though handling techniques at the mint as well as how collectors are starting to view libertads is starting to change.
