Owner's Description

This is a nice upgrade from a recent NGC submission. There are only 6 coins graded higher in MS69. Finding a coin to grade MS69 will be a huge challenge because these coins were not carefully minted and were allowed to abbraid with one another prior to being placed in mint tubes. The real quality improvement with the minting process started with the 1991 type 2 libertads as they were placed in mint sets. No Libertad BU strike 1 onza has a grade of MS69 prior to the 1991. The 1991 type 2 coins are actually mules as the dies from the 1992 were used to make those, hence the difference between the type 1 and type 2 are very obvious.
