Owner's Description

Of all the coins in this set this is my absolute favorite. The coin here is the first and only BU libertad to ever be given the PL or proof like designation for any year in the series from 1982 to current. When I first received this coin I thought it was a bad example of a proof coin so I almost tossed it. After keeping my cool I looked at it again and realized I had something special and maybe the first one ever discovered. I sent pictures and emails to dealers that specialize in libertads and they never saw one. Since I had several other 1990 high quality coins I decided to send it in for grading and was happy to get the grade of PL67. All the other 1990s i had were nice but this received the highest grade as the others came in at MS66. Although the 2015 reverse proof gets the PL designation this is truly a gem and a real PL.
