Owner's Description

1890-S $20 MS63 PCGS. This is an attractive example of this S-mint issue, featuring a sharp strike throughout both sides and attractive apricot-gold and orange-gold patina on each side. A patch of abrasions on Liberty's cheek includes one long, thin scrape and some smaller blunt marks that account for the grade, but the surfaces elsewhere are nicely preserved, particularly the reverse, which would likely grade finer on its own
