Owner's Description

The strike on this coin is much stronger than those on the half eagles from San Francisco in 1872. The texture of the coin is frosty and there is a strong cartwheel effect on both the obverse and reverse. The color is a soft green gold in the undisturbed areas with orange gold highlights.
