Owner's Description

This honey gold example has excellent frosty luster. There is a soft patina on the surfaces that leads one to believe this coin was hidden in a bank vault for decades. The strike is solid on both sides and there are interesting die cracks on the reverse connecting the second A in AMERICA with E and D in FIVE D; another more subtle crack connects U in UNITED with the F in FIVE.
