Owner's Description
Some dealers call a coin like this a lucky charms coin because it has a +, a star and a CAC sticker. This coin clearly deserves this notoriety because it is a beautiful representative of a Liberty Half Eagle. The fields are moderately prooflike on both the obverse and reverse. The strike is precise, and there are no reportable marks. The color is a rich honey gold. The top of the 7 is clearly repunched, a variety omitted from Cherrypickers', although Breen discusses it (as a so-called Large over Small 7) in his 1988 Encyclopedia under his 6570 classification.
