Owner's Description

The current example exhibits rich frosty luster that is rich and pillowy. The underlying color is orange-gold but the coin is highlighted with a rich “red copper” patina. The strike is somewhat atypical for a Philadelphia issue in that there is some strike weakness on the obverse curls and the reverse arrow feathers. The reverse is rotated slightly clockwise.
