Owner's Description

Winter Variety 11-G. The strike on this coin is perhaps the best I’ve seen on a Dahlonega Half Eagle. The texture is frosty with some graniness present. The underlying color is green gold but this is accented with fiery patches of yellow-orange overtones. A very pleasing, original coin overall. Purchased from Doug Winter.
