Owner's Description

Winter Variety 1, Die State 1. Atypically strong strike for a '42-C Large Date. This coin has a very pleasant green gold color and frosty luster. The fields are lightly reflective and there are very few abrasions present. Heritage 1/02: 4880; Bowers & Merena 3/10: 3742; Heritage 11/04: 8367; Bowers & Merena 10/99: 910.

NOTE: The haziness by the mint mark is on the holder, not the coin.
