Owner's Description
The Denver-minted 1957 Roosevelt had a mintage of about 113 million making the date very common among the series.
The 1957-D here is a blast white dime with excellent luster on both sides. Very light spots can be seen only under very strong magnification.
The coin has a good strike on both sides with no significant spread in any of the lettering, but some light to medium hairlines on both sides. This dime has a very nice torch strike as well. The upper band line is full, but the lower band line is less than 75% complete. There is also a small scuff on the torch handle which may interrupt the continuity of one of the vertical lines.
Other very light contact marks are present but consistent with the MS 67 grade. Overall, this is a very nice bright white dime for the collection.
