Owner's Description
The Denver Mint produced over 100 million Roosevelt dimes dated 1954 and estimates suggest millions of mint state survivors.
The 1954-D here is bright white and 100% spot-free on both side with all of its original luster. This coin has very good eye-appeal. It also has a great strike with only very light hairlines.
Torch lines are clear, well-defined, and uninterrupted. There is a small contact mark on the torch handle which nearly interrupts the continuity of one of the vertical lines. It's a close call.
Other noticeable but light contact marks include one on Roosevelt's chin, but overall this coin is appropriately grade. A nice dime for the collection.
