Owner's Description
San Francisco produced over 39 million Roosevelt dimes in 1953 and million survive in uncirculated and mint state condition.
The 1953-S in this collection is bright white with good luster and eye-appeal on both sides. It has an average strike with some light to medium hairlines and a bit of spread in some of the lettering around the perimeter.
Most of the torch line are clear and defined, however contact marks interrupt the continuity of some of the vertical line and the lower band line is just barely visible.
Light contact marks are present but consistent with the grade. Overall this is dime is appropriately graded and a good addition to the collection.
