Owner's Description
The San Francisco Mint produced over 44 million Roosevelt dimes dated 1952 and millions survive in uncirculated and mint state condition. However, full torch strikes with this date are less common. PCGS estimates that only 36,000 1952-S Roosevelts with full torch strikes survive in MS 65 condition or better.
The 1952-S in this collection is bright white with great luster and eye-appeal on both sides. It has a good strike with fine central details. However there is a bit of spread in some of the lettering around the perimeter on both sides.
Torch lines are clear, well-defined, and uninterrupted. Contact marks are present but consistent with the grade. Overall, this is a great dime with excellent eye-appeal for the collection.
