Owner's Description
In 1950, the Denver Mint produced nearly 47 million Roosevelt dimes and millions still survive in uncirculated and mint state condition.
The 1950-D here is a blast white coin that's 100% spot-free with great luster and eye-appeal from Nick Cascio. Mr. Cascio is the buying agent for the Arthur L. Gowman Collection, one of the finest silver Roosevelt dime collections in the world.
This dime has an excellent strike with very fine details. Torch lines are clear, defined, and uninterrupted. There is one tiny contact mark on the torch between two of the vertical lines. But other than that one mark, this dime is problem free.
This is one of the finest Roosevelt dimes in the entire collection and one of my personal favorites. This coin will be in the collection for a long time.
