Beyond individual coin sales, the Mint offered a special Coin & Currency set which contained the commemorative silver dollar, a 1994 matte proof Jefferson Nickel, and a crisp 1976 $2 bill.
The obverse is a image of Thomas Jefferson and the reverse it has views of the famous home Monticello. He was known to be quit brilliant and accomplished.
He is looked upon today by many presidents and also has a unique history of decendants appearing here and there.
