CYPRUS, KING GEORGE VI 1/2 PIASTRE 1943.
OBVERSE: Crowned head of George VI facing left.
REVERSE: 1/2 in the center.
ENGRAVER: Percy Metcalfe.
DIAMETER: 19 mm
WEIGHT: 2.59 g
SHAPE: Scalloped.
EDGE: Plain.
METAL COMPOSITION: Copper 97%, Tin 0.5%, Zinc 2.5%
MINTAGE: 1,080,000
RARITY: Very rare in EF and UNC condition.

Attractive coin featuring a solid strike, nice color and some peripheral mint red.
