CYPRUS, KING GEORGE VI 4.5 PIASTRES 1938.

OBVERSE: Crowned head of King facing left.
REVERSE: Two lions passant guardant, adopted from the badge of the Governor.
ENGRAVER: Obverse: Percy Metcalfe. Reverse: Kruger Gray.
DIAMETER: 19.5 mm
WEIGHT: 2.82 g
EDGE: Grained.
FINENESS: 0.925 (Sterling standard).
MINTAGE: 192,000
RARITY: Common, but extremely rare in uncirculated condition.

A superb example of this common coin in highest grade.
Features a full strike on perfect lustrus fields.
