Owner's Description

F-110. Not much to go on, but the position of the date and the position of the mint mark lead me to this conclusion. On the obverse almost all the letters in STATES OF appear to be recut. Also the upper part of the first S in STATES is defective. There is a small die crack on the reverese starting from the dentils at 4:30 and running up to the oak leaf above. Even though the coin is of very high grade, the surfaces are unmarked and the strike unusually strong, and an upgrade (or at least a "+") cannot be ruled out. Right now it stands at the top of the charts. There are just six coins graded MS-66 (two PCGS, four NGC) with none finer. Bought from Bill Nagle, August 2007.
