Owner's Description

F-110, from the position and slope of the date and the extensive die crack throughout the left wreath on the reverse. The obverse is essentially perfect with no signs of any die deterioration although Liberty's head is not completely struck up. The reverse shows a perfect copy of the die break outlined in Fortin on the left side of the wreath, but there is no real evdence of another on the right side. A beautiful captivating gem with good luster and wonderful color. Really not very scarce but 67s remain rare with PCGS having graded just three and NGC another four with two MS-68s finer. Bought from Laura Sperber at Legend Numismatics, November, 2005.
