Owner's Description

F-104, from the slope of the date and the position of the mint mark. Ex-Pittman. A runaway top pop and a fabulous gem. NGC's closest coin is graded MS-65, while PCGS has only come up with two MS-66s (one of which I can vouch is also a marvellous coin and a F-104), and one MS-65. The even, unmarked toning and the strong luster give this coin fabulous eye appeal. The only possible criticism might be that the strike particularly on Liberty's head could be a little bit sharper. Bought from Joe O'Connor, May, 2004.
