Owner's Description

F-102, solely from the position and downward slope of the date, and thus with not a lot of conviction. Fortin calls for these dies to be clashed, and Ahwash mentions possible doubling on the reverse, but none of this is in evidence on this coin. One of the truly common dates in the series with forty-seven coins graded MS-67 and six MS-68. While not in the running for the finest known perhaps this coin might rank among the prettiest. Bought from Kathleen Duncan at Pinnacle Rarities, August 2005.
