Owner's Description

F-112, Type II reverse (Heritage attributes this to the E in ONE being distant from the wreath. It is a little simpler to note the left end of the ribbon ends in a single point), medium level date positioned as stated in Fortin. The coin must be a slightly earlier strike than the coin photoed in Fortin as the die cracks he outlines on the reverse have yet to fully develope. Only the crack at the rim at 12:00 down to the wreath and another at 10:00 from the rim to the leaf and on to the wheat can be seen on this coin. The two major die cracks on the lower left and right of the wreath are not present. A well struck beautiful coin with some wonderful color. Pops are three at PCGS with none finer; eight at NGC with one MS-68 better. Bought from a Heritage auction, July 2007, lot 516.
