Owner's Description

Bought in Octgober 2005 from Stack's auction of the Lemus collection, and listed there as about uncirculated (raw), a grade I happen to agree with (some even thought it might do better). But PCGS does not, even after considerable discussion. So it is now in a PCGS EF-45 holder--where it would appear to merit a CAC gold sticker. Although the coin is not lustrous, there are no signs of wear even on the normal high points (e.g. Liberty's breasts, knee and leg). The strike is full except on the upper left of the reverse, and there are a few stray lines in the right obverse field which account for the grade I would assign to it.
