Owner's Description

F-101. Almost a perfect match for this variety, downward sloping date, small thin mint mark, the reverse doubled most noticeably on the lower left wreath and bow. But there is no die scratch in the interior of the O in ONE. A lovely coin with a decent strike and eye appealing toning. There is one small spot in the left obverse field. Unbelieveably tough in mint state with only seven coins graded higher than MS-60 between the two services. Five in MS-63 (3 NGC, 2 PCGS), one in MS-64 (PCGS), and finally this coin in MS-65 at PCGS. It fully deserves its R-7+ rating in MS. Bought from the Stack's sale of the Lemus Collection, October, 2005, lot 642.
