Owner's Description

WB-102, with the appropriate die clashes in the left obverse field and again on the reverse on the inside of the left wreath. Prohibitively rare in gem (R-7+) with only three coins graded higher than MS-63 in total at both services. Indeed this is the only coin at NGC graded above MS-62. From the comments in the literature a srronger strike than would be expected both on Liberty's head and the denticles throughout. Quite an appealing coin, brilliant with good luster. Bought from a Superior sale, January, 2003, lot 441.
