Owner's Description

F-102, level date. R-7 in mint state. One of three graded at this level by PCGS with none finer, and it is hard to believe that any of the other two could be better. (NGC reports no MS-65s, but one MS-66. This latter coin is a bright white coin auctioned by Heritage as part of The Joseph C. Thomas collection in April, 2009.) Sharply struck, with even natural toning, there are no imperfections marring its surfaces to report. Bought from Heritage's auction of the Simpson collection, September 2010.
