Owner's Description

F-108a, with the die crack on the lower left of the reverse. More pronounced than in the Fortin photographs, but nowhere near the cud evident in F-108b. Bought from a Stack's auction, December, 1998, lot 1257. At the moment the pops at PCGS are two in MS-65 with one coin graded higher in MS-66. A full strike on the obverse although the denticles are somewhat blunt partiuclarly below the date. The reverse is also strongly struck with only a pair of die cracks down by the bow knot. The one already mentioned, and another lighter one from the left side of the bow circling down to the tip of the left ribbon. Attractively toned with good eye appeal.
