Owner's Description

F-101. Definitely Obverse 1 with the 1 and 8 in the date pushed up into the rock. Which means the coin is either a F-101 or F-115. Both varieties call for a die break or die lines on the reverse neither of which is present on this coin. As F-115 calls for a distinct die break through U in UNITED, while F-101 features a series of very light die lines in the right reverse field, I opted to call this coin a F-101, as I am positive there is no die break anywhere near the U in UNITED. While technically a MS-66, the eye appeal of this coin is well below average due to the splattering of spots on both the obverse and reverse. Pop three at PCGS with two finer. Bought from a Stack's auction, March, 2006, lot 4244.
