Owner's Description

F-103, with the slight protuberance from the dentils below the 7 in the date. I have always liked this coin especially for the grade. It is so fresh and well struck, but there is probably enough chatter and lines in the fields to account for the grade. The die break on the reverse mentioned in Fortin from below the bow knot to the ribbon and on to the rim is present. There is also a die break on the obverse linking stars eleven and twelve. Not at the top of the rankings, this coin could still be close to being included in the condition census. Bought from an American Numismatic Rarities auction, November, 2004, lot 572.
