Owner's Description

O-101. A lightly toned, sharply struck gem. One of five coins at this grade level at PCGS, although NGC does have two MS-66's listed finer. Pretty much as described in Fortin. Rim cuds at 2 and 4 o'clock on the obverse, the mint mark re cut on the reverse. One interesting feature is the die crack on the reverse from the rim to and on top of the U in UNITED and then on to the bases of the rest of those letters. Much more prominent than the photo in Fortin. The uninterupted smoothness of the fields gives this coin strong eye appeal. Bought from Laura Sperber at Legend Numismatics, August, 2007.
