Owner's Description

The 2001D is much rarer than the regular 2001. The D designates that the coin was scheduled for Domestic distribution only. It is unknown how many 2001D coins exist but the number could be quite rare. Many of the surviving 2001D coins are in horrible condition. It is wise to be very selective when choosing a raw 2001D specimen or to buy one already in the grade you are looking for. Collectors should consider getting the 2001D coins while they are still available.
