Owner's Description

THIS COIN: A white and lustrous coin with a hint of pale gold tone on the obverse. Cartwheeling dominates fields on both sides. Devices are bold and frosted. Type I reverse.
BACKGROUND: The 1875 Carson City production, 1,573,700 pieces, was the highest Trade Dollar mintage from this mint and also the most available Carson City Trade Dollar. Both Type I and Type II reverses exist. Type I reverse is the more plentiful.
