Owner's Description

This is a gorgeous "lightly golden toned" Franklin that just misses on the FBL designation. The re-worked master die was re-worked with lots of restored detail in all areas except the lower bell lines on the reverse of the Liberty Bell. FBL coins coupled with a high degree of mint state is a "combo" seldom found on coins minted from 1960-1963. But with all of the problems I mentioned in the set description, any Franklin "north" of MS 64 is downright scarce if not rare. I really like this toned 63 as most coins from this year are un-toned. Very few color coins exist as well as very few MS-65 & higher. A pretty nice looking coin to say the least.
