Owner's Description

A "brilliant white" scarce coin with this look and in this condition. I feel very fortunate to have snagged a fairly large group of absolutely awesome white coins. They all look as if they were minted yesterday. Very few coins survive today that look like this coin looks. Mintage figures are misleading as there is only a single didgit percentage that remains from the 25,445,580 original coining. When I look at this coin under my 10X optivisor, I can't help but wonder just why this coin did not make the grade on at least MS-66. The coin is as near a perfect specimen as a coin could be. As far as "eye appeal" I have few coins if any that top this 54-D. An "awesome" coin without a doubt.
