Owner's Description

Mintage: 37.8 Million
Full Step Availability: 20%
Population MS67: 95/0
Date/mm Information: Usually seen with nice luster and decent eye appeal.

Coin Description:
The obverse displays peach centers surrounded by gorgeous lavender and caribbean blue leading to a rainbow periphery of bright gold, orange, pink, and lime green. The reverse has a similar toning pattern with the exception of the rainbow elements. This coin is has jaw dropping color, powerful luster, and clean surfaces that result in remarkable eye appeal that is not hindered by the absence of the star designation.

Comments:
While the full step availability is stated at 20%, only 6 such examples have been designated as such in the MS67 grade, making obtaining one much more difficult. Instead of strike, I decided to focus on eye appeal for this date and found a gorgeous representative. The coin was purchased on an E-Bay auction for 2X Numsimedia Wholesale in November 2008.
