Owner's Description

The second most common date, with 100 - 110 estimated known in AU and above, including 7 - 8 uncirculated, even though 263,000 were minted (what happened to all the other ones?).

This MS60 example is from the Pinnacle Collection. Most coins graded MS60 are heavily bagmarked and unappealing but this piece is incredibly clean for the grade with velvety smooth surfaces and great medium to deep orange-gold and greenish color. Luster is plentiful throughout. As with most examples of this date, the strike is very sharp.
