Owner's Description

Lot # 7305 B&M Auction, Las Vegas 10-05 Attractive mint luster is touched with a hint of gold. The obverse has a faint veil of haze. Surfaces are immaculate. Just 6,004 examples were struck. This date was sold by the Mint only as a three-piece PDS set. The offered example somehow got separated from its branch mint counterparts, perhaps because of its outstanding quality. It is a highly important condition rarity for both date and type. Finding another of its equal would be nearly impossible.NGC Census: 9 at this level, including 1 piece with star designation. None are certified finer.<br /><br />PCGS# 9416.
