Owner's Description

1880-CC GSA $1 NGC MS-65 – VAM 10 (8/7 Dash and Doubled 8), 312 in MS 65 (42 in MS-66, and 1 in MS-67)* There are also PL and DPL examples of the normal variety and the various other varieties of this date make for another 80 MS-65s and 9 MS-66s, with none higher.<br /><br />Pure white surfaces with probably no more than a half dozen contact marks randomly placed around the coin. The strike is very bold on all raised areas, with the exception of slight weakness over Liberty’s ear (probably the result of the coin passing through the roller wheel on the counting machine). Some tiny dark specks scattered on the reverse. With original box and certificate.
