Owner's Description

An ebay purchase from http://stores.ebay.com/So-Cal-Coins-and-Collectables on 10-7-07 for $70.
---------------------------

It has been rumored that the United States Mint will not be doing the lettering around the coins edge for next years Presidential Dollars therefore reducing the amount of errors and increasing the value for the first year of issue Presidential Dollar sets. If this were to be true, you can rest assured that the reverse and obverse of the coin is going to have to be reworked and the words "In God We Trust" 2007 "D" "E Pluribus Unum" will appear on the obverse and reverse of the coin accordingly.

"FYI"

If you guys think that the PCGS MS67 Thomas Jefferson's are abundant, think again. Do a search out on Ebay and see how many of them are listed. There are a few sellers offering these coins as in stock when the fact remains that they are not available to them from any major wholesaler. Out of 2000 coins that I submitted into PCGS and over $20,000 dollars in submission fees, only 30 sets achieved the MS67 cut. You do the math and figure out how many of them are available to go around. I can assure you that not very many will be available so if you would like to get one of these coins to complete your collection, be the high bidder or pay an exhorbant amount for them later. Some of the PCGS MS67 sets have been selling for over $1200 dollars from collectors that have gotten the information that I just gave you knowing that there are not that many to go around. Do your due diligence and buy one before they are all gone!

Thomas Jefferson Presidential $1 Dollar Coin - Third President 1801-1809

Sometimes referred to as the "Silent Member" of the Continental Congress, Thomas Jefferson spoke volumes with his pen. He drafted the Declaration of Independence at the age of 33, and later succeeded Benjamin Franklin as America's foreign minister to France. During his first term as President, Thomas Jefferson virtually doubled the size of the United States when his Administration successfully completed the Louisiana Purchase in 1803 and commissioned the Lewis and Clark expedition to explore the new territory.

The Thomas Jefferson $1 Coin features a likeness of Jefferson on the obverse and a reverse design with a striking rendition of the Statue of Liberty. This coin features larger, more dramatic artwork, as well as edge-incused inscriptions of the year, E Pluribus Unum, In God We Trust and the mint mark.
