Owner's Description

In the continuing challenge to find eye-appealing coins with color for this set I am happy to have acquired this gem from Teletrade Auctions. This coin has a great Obverse color scheme – darker golden/rose around the periphery and a scattered, light purple hue across the center. The Reverse has a very pleasing lighter form of the golden/rose around the rims with a stunningly brilliant center.<br />This coin is a great example of how grading is the sum of the parts – Surface preservation, Strike, Luster and Eye-appeal. The coin has absolutely zero contact marks, possesses a somewhat average strike, has wonderful mint luster and exhibits very nice eye-appeal due to the color. In total this coin is very deserving of the MS66 grade.<br /><br />
