Owner's Description

This is a beautiful example of one of the semi-keys to the Walker Short Set. The coin exhibits wonderful toning on the obverse arcing down from the B in Liberty around the rim to Ms. Liberty’s right foot. Purple to Red to Gold flows as if up from a setting sun to highlight Ms. Liberty. The balance of the obverse has sharp mint brilliance. The reverse has only a touch of color around the rim in the area above and behind the Eagle.<br />The strike is good and there are only the slightest signs of contact. This coin solidly earns a MS65 grade from PCGS. Additionally, the guys at David Lawrence rated her a 3***** and I could not agree more.<br /><br /><br />
