Owner's Description

A vivid rainbow of colors, particularly on the Obverse, allows this gem 1943 Walker to fit quite nicely into my Short Set. It is a pleasure to present to you - through the NGC Registry - another quality, eye-appealing purchase from the folks at Northeast Numismatics. It has been a very interesting experience to search my favorite dealer sites each evening looking for coins to meet my set’s criteria – Strict grading and unique eye-appeal. This ’43 was worth every minute.<br /><br />This is a very accurately graded MS-65. The strike is very good, though I would assume so from the normal Mint characteristics. The slight weakness in the central devices of the Obverse and the Eagle’s left leg on the Reverse would be distinct grading elements that would confirm mid-gem status. A counter-balance to this slight weakness of strike in the grading process is the almost complete lack of contact and the overall eye-appeal. I am proud to own this rock-solid gem graded by a first-rate service.
