Owner's Description
This is a curious coin when closely examined. The striking details are unusually sharp, almost full, which is most unusual for a Type Two. The obverse is, in fact, fully detailed. The upper part of the reverse shows just a bit of softness, suggesting that die might have been slightly out of alignment. Another obverse / reverse difference is apparent: the obverse fields show heavy die striations which have imparted prooflikeness on that side, while the reverse shows none of these striations. Both sides are richly toned in shades of rose and teal.
