Owner's Description

Fr. 1607exp $1 1935 Experimental C-B Block Silver Certificate.

A paper experiment patterned after the $1.00 Series 1928A and 1928B set was again tried during the $1.00 Series 1935. In this case the printing began on March 16, 1937 on the A-B block, utilizing the distinctive paper with a special finish. The printing of this group ended April 28,1937. Printing started again on November 26,1937 with the B-B block using special paper. On December 1 1937, the C-B block was begun on regular paper as the control, and both terminated on December 10th. These ware all delivered within the year 1937.
