The representative note is the smallest denomination from the new 1967 Banco Central del Uruguay issue – 50 pesos, P46a. The front of the note shows General Jose Gervasio Artigas (1764-1850), considered a national hero in Uruguay, given the pivotal military and political roles he played in gaining independence from the Spanish and Portuguese. The representative note is an example of the latest round of inflation suffered by Venezuela. It is a 20000 Bolivar Soberano (P110b) which was issued in 2019 as all of the other denominations of this currency had lost all of their value.
