Owner's Description

The selected note to represent this bank is a specimen note from the last 1 bolivano issue Series NN), and is thus dated 01.07.1911. The front features the portrait of a girl on the left and the Bolivian coat of arms on the right. The back of the note is described as being a ‘farmhouse’ however as the bank was founded to support the mining industry, and given the numerous pack animals in the foreground and the distinctly non-agricultural terrain, a depiction of a mining compound may be more likely.
