Owner's Description

The representative ‘note’ for this Set is a 20 centavos from Series 2 of the issue (S1096/M3966). A number of firsts for the collection result from this note 1) the first pasteboard note 2) the smallest note at 53 × 31 mm and 3) an unrecorded Series letter(s) as Z. R. – one of the 1916 issues? The signature, also in red, is Armando Deschamps, a well-respected local businessman, who was appointed Tesorero General in 1915.
